Tony Buksh - Health Coach / Owner

Tony has strong experience in the core aspects of fitness and nutrition and a particular interest in helping clients achieve consistency and balance in their life.

In his 12 years as a Personal Trainer Tony has worked with clients of all ages, covering a variety of personal health goals including rehabilitation and specific sports training. Prior to starting EVOLVE Health and Fitness at Coolum Beach in 2004, Tony had owned and managed a successful Personal Training studio in St Kilda Melbourne.

Tony’s highly regarded approach to personal training starts with the premise that getting in shape is not just about talk and fad information, but about acting upon lots of small changes and remaining consistent with a individually designed physical program.

After having a consultation with Tony it is easy to see that remaining active in his core profession of personal training is what really maintains his motivation.

“You get to see the physical changes and their energy levels improve which helps them to take on their day - which effects me positively but also those around them.”

Essentially Tony is approachable, disciplined, communicates easily relevant physical and nutritional information, and delivers a high level of genuine care and professionalism to his clients.

Cristie Downing - Personal Trainer/Pilates Instructor

Cristie is the most recent member to our team whose presence radiates her commitment to fitness and nutrition and her unique gift in the way she works with all people. In addition to Personal Training, Cristie conducts the Pilates classes on Saturday morning (8am,9am) and Tuesday 4.30pm which are exclusive to 6 per class and have proven to be a very popular discipline to help clients achieve results quicker.

All clients that personal train twice per week get one free pilates per week

Cristie has true respect of health and fitness and helping other people, with a particular interest working with women and core strength training. Her qualifications include a degree in Psychology, giving her an even greater edge working with the whole person.
