At EVOLVE Health and Fitness we offer private and small group pilates reformer and mat classes. Our pilates reformer sessions focus on core strength and are delivered with only one or two students per session to allow our instructors to offer tailored sessions. Our pilates mat classes cater for up to 10 individuals per class, so expect individual attention to ensure each exercise is being performed properly.
Why is pilates so effective and recommended? Pilates involves training your muscles to improve posture and alignment. By focusing on your core strength, you enhance the little muscles in the body so you’re better able to support the larger ligaments, tendons, and joints. Our classes are for all levels, all ages, and all abilities. Every exercise can be tailored to the individual, so if you have an injury there is always another level or alternative exercise for you to do.

Using the resistance of the pulley and spring system more resistance is created than what you get with just your body weight on a mat. Pilates Reformer Intro Package
Our Pilates Introductory Package is the perfect way to start your Pilates journey at the best value. The Intro Pack includes 3 private 1:1 sessions with our expert instructor where we prepare you for commencing your Duo classes.
Initial Session - includes a short postural and movement assessment whilst teaching you the principles of Pilates.
Following 2 sessions - based on findings from your initial session, your instructor will guide you through an exercise routine where you will experience and feel different movements and muscle activations, building upon your understanding of Pilates.

Your Pilates Reformer Assessment will be a private session with one of our expert instructors and will cover goal setting, flexibility, mobility, posture, balance and an immediate start on the reformer.

Pilates classes work on strengthening all your stabiliser muscles that surround your shoulders, spine, pelvis, and all the way down to your ankles. This brings your body into alignment and can help prevent injuries.
Techniques and imagery are also used that you can carry across to everyday activities, allowing you to remain calm and centred throughout the day. A focus with Pilates is on the breathing, using your breath to activate your abdominals and help support your spine
